All eighteen courses on this trail should be operating at full capacity through the summer months, with firm, well-conditioned parkland fairways and reliable green speeds. Advance booking is strongly advised on weekends, particularly at courses within easy reach of Montréal's suburbs. The region's proximity to the city means courses in communities like Verchères, Saint-Césaire, and Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle draw steady local traffic. September and October represent the most atmospheric time to play this trail. Temperatures moderate to a comfortable 12–20°C in September, cooling through October toward the low single digits by month's end. The parkland courses here are surrounded by deciduous forest and agricultural landscape that turns vivid shades of orange, red, and yellow through the Montérégie's apple country — particularly around Rougemont, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, and Hemmingford. Fairways firm up after the heat of summer, and courses tend to be less crowded than peak season while still operating at full capacity into mid-October. The region's apple harvest is in full swing through September and October, and stopping at roadside stands or visiting a cidery after a round is straightforward at multiple points on this trail.
