Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of golftrail.ca (“Golf Trail,” “we,” “us”) and any bookings you make through the site. By using the site or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Golf Trail is

Golf Trail helps you plan drivable golf road trips and book the golf and hotel portions together. Tee-time inventory, hotel inventory, pricing, and reservation fulfillment are provided by our booking partner, InteGolf, and its hotel supply partner (Expedia). We act as the customer-facing planner and interface; the actual reservations sit with the respective course, hotel, or their designated agent.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By booking, you confirm that the payment method is yours (or that you have authorization to use it) and that all golfer names and details you provide are accurate.

Guest checkout & your responsibility

Golf Trail supports guest checkout — you do not need an account to book. You are responsible for the accuracy of every detail you enter (names, dates, party size, contact info). Courses and hotels rely on this information to honour the reservation. Corrections requested after booking may be subject to the applicable course, hotel, or partner change policies and fees.

Pricing, taxes, and currency

Displayed prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise noted. Sales tax (HST/GST/QST) is added at checkout based on the province of the round or stay. The estimated total shown while planning includes the round price, room total, and applicable taxes; the final total is confirmed on the checkout page immediately before payment. Rates from hotel and course suppliers can change; if a rate moves between planning and booking, we'll re-quote before charging you.

Payment

Payment is processed by InteGolf through Expedia's partner rails at the moment you confirm the booking. By submitting a booking you authorize a single charge to your payment method for the total shown on the confirmation page. Refunds, if any, follow the cancellation policies below and are returned to the original method of payment.

Cancellations, changes, and no-shows

Golf. Each course sets its own cancellation policy (often 24–72 hours before tee time). The applicable window is shown on the booking summary before you pay and again on your confirmation.

Hotels. Refundable rates can be cancelled without penalty up to the cancellation deadline shown on the summary; non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or changed after booking. The deadline and refundability are surfaced on the room selection and confirmation pages.

How to cancel. Use the booking confirmation link we send you, or email [email protected] with your booking number and the email you booked with.

No-shows. Failing to arrive for a tee time or hotel stay is generally treated as a same-day cancellation by the course or hotel — the reservation is forfeit and typically non-refundable.

Weather, closures, and course conditions

Weather, closures, aeration, and course-condition decisions are made by each course. When a course cancels or reschedules a tee time, we'll help you rebook or process a refund according to that course's policy. Hotel stays are independent of golf weather cancellations.

Content accuracy

We work hard to keep course details, hotel listings, photos, amenities, and distances accurate, but this information originates with our partners and the properties themselves and can change without notice. Distances shown between courses and hotels are straight- line (“crow flies”) and drive time may be longer.

Third-party services

Bookings are fulfilled through InteGolf, Expedia, and each individual course or hotel. Their own terms and conditions apply to your reservation in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict about a specific reservation, the supplier's terms for that reservation govern that reservation.

Acceptable use

Don't use Golf Trail to attempt to scrape, resell, or systematically extract tee- time or hotel inventory; to bypass rate-limits or authentication; to submit false or misleading booking information; or to interfere with the site's operation. We may suspend or cancel bookings that appear fraudulent or abusive.

Intellectual property

Golf Trail's site design, editorial content, trail groupings, and trademarks are owned by us or licensed to us. Course names, hotel names, and product marks belong to their respective owners. You may share links to public pages; please don't reproduce substantial portions of the site without written permission.

Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific tee time or room will remain available between planning and booking.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golf Trail's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a booking or the use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost enjoyment, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations; in those places the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Golf Trail harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the site, your bookings, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Nova Scotia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, subject to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights in your home province.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version.
