The Carolinian forest character of the Carlisle and Flamborough courses is at its visual peak in mid-October, though leaf accumulation on fairways can slow pace of play later in the month. Courses typically remain open into late October and sometimes early November, weather permitting, though shorter days compress playable windows as the season closes.
