Parkland Courses in Québec & Chaudière-Appalaches

Parkland golf defines the Québec & Chaudière-Appalaches trail, where ten tree-lined, inland courses stretch from the outskirts of Québec City south and east through the Appalaches foothills and the agricultural lowlands along the Chaudière River. Nine of the ten layouts are full 18-hole rounds, most measuring between 6,200 and 6,600 yards, which keeps the trail accessible without sacrificing variety. Club de golf Lorette, designed by Yannick Pilon and stretching to 6,632 yards at par 72, sits closest to Québec City and makes a natural first stop for golfers based in the capital. South along the highway, Dorchester in Frampton — a Graham Cooke and Darrell Huxham design at par 71 — offers a different routing character, while Club de Golf et Curling Thetford in Thetford Mines, which has seen two rounds of design work from Cooke and Yannick Pilon, anchors the inland western edge of the trail. For golfers drawn to an elevated, hillside setting, Golf du Mont Adstock in Adstock sits on noticeably different terrain from the flatter valley courses. Most venues are within a 90-minute drive of Québec City, making the trail manageable as a multi-day road trip; Lac-Etchemin and Saint-Damien-de-Buckland sit at the southern end and pair well together for a single overnight.
