Dorchester

Club de Golf Dorchester is an 18-hole public parkland course situated in Frampton, in Quebec's Chaudière-Appalaches region. Founded in 1970 as a 9-hole layout, it expanded to its current 18-hole configuration in 1986. The course plays to a par of 71 over 6,408 yards, with fully irrigated fairways kept in consistent condition throughout the season.

Designed by Graham Cooke and Darrell Huxham, the layout winds through a wooded environment punctuated by lakes, giving the course a sheltered, naturalistic character typical of Quebec's Eastern Townships fringe. The combination of trees and water introduces both strategic and penalty elements across the round, rewarding accurate ball-striking while offering enough variety to engage players across a range of handicaps.

At 6,408 yards from the tips, Dorchester is accessible enough for recreational golfers while still presenting a meaningful test for low-handicappers navigating the tighter wooded corridors. Its public status makes it a practical stop for road-trippers moving through the Chaudière-Appalaches corridor between Quebec City and the Maine border.
