Golf Des Saules

Golf Des Saules is a public, 18-hole parkland course situated in Rimouski, on the southern shore of the St. Lawrence River in eastern Quebec. Built in 1971, it plays to a par of 71 over 6,009 yards, making it a manageable but genuine test of the game.

The layout is a classic parkland design, with bent grass greens and bluegrass fairways threading through tree-lined terrain. Several holes open up to views of the St. Lawrence, giving the round a sense of place that goes beyond the scorecard. At 6,009 yards from the tips, the course rewards accuracy and course management over raw power — a setup that tends to suit a wide range of handicaps.

Rimouski itself is one of the larger centres along the Lower St. Lawrence, with restaurants, accommodations, and easy highway access, making Golf Des Saules a natural stop for golfers travelling the Quebec side of the river corridor.
