About this course

Club de Golf Boule Rock is an 18-hole, par-71 layout in Métis-sur-Mer, a small village on the south shore of the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec. Designed by Albert Murray and opened in 1919, it ranks among the older established courses in Atlantic Canada, carrying more than a century of playing history along this stretch of the St. Lawrence.

At 6,066 yards from the back tees, the course plays to a moderate length, though its mature tree canopy shapes and tightens many of the holes. The 6th hole stands out for its views across the St. Lawrence River — a reminder of how close the course sits to one of Canada's defining waterways. The combination of an older Murray routing, established hardwoods, and coastal proximity gives Boule Rock a character that longer, more modern courses in the province don't replicate.

The layout suits a wide range of golfers.
