Rainbow Ridge Golf Course

Rainbow Ridge Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout situated in Manitowaning on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. One of the older courses in the region, it has been in operation since 1932, giving it a maturity that younger courses can't replicate.

Stretching 6,424 yards from the tips, Rainbow Ridge presents a genuine test across its 18 holes. Nine of those holes feature water, meaning players will need to carry or navigate hazards on half the round. Sand traps appear on every hole, and the large greens reward approach play and give putters room to work — though they also leave ample margin for three-putts if pace is misjudged. Multiple tee options mean the course can be stretched or softened to suit a range of handicaps.

Practice facilities and a clubhouse round out the on-site amenities, making Rainbow Ridge a reasonable destination for a half-day or full-day outing on Manitoulin Island.
