Inland Edmundston typically sees warm, humid summers with temperatures regularly in the mid-twenties Celsius, making morning tee times preferable on the hottest days. Along the Acadian coast at Pokemouche, sea breezes moderate the heat and add a navigational element to the parkland layout. Daylight is generous throughout summer, with rounds possible well into the evening. This is the busiest period on both courses, so advance tee-time bookings are advisable, particularly on weekends. The region's Acadian cultural calendar is at its most active in summer: the Festival Acadien de Caraquet, held in early August just down the road from Pokemouche, is one of the largest French-language cultural festivals in Atlantic Canada and offers a compelling reason to extend a golf trip into a broader regional experience. Accommodations in Caraquet and Edmundston fill up during festival periods, so planning ahead matters. Overall, summer delivers reliable weather, firm conditions, and a lively regional atmosphere.

Fall

September is widely regarded as one of the finest months to golf in New Brunswick, and northern New Brunswick is no exception. Temperatures cool to a comfortable range in the high teens Celsius, humidity drops, and the hardwood forests that frame much of this region ignite with fall colour through mid-October. Fraser Edmundston Golf Club, surrounded by the rolling forested hills near the Madawaska River valley, offers particularly striking autumn scenery. Pokemouche remains playable and less crowded as the summer tourist season winds down, and coastal breezes take on a crisper character. Most courses in the province close by late October, with weather unpredictability increasing significantly after Thanksgiving. Fall visitors benefit from quieter conditions, easier tee times, and often reduced rates. The harvest season brings good local produce to regional tables, and the quieter Acadian coastal villages have an unhurried atmosphere that suits a relaxed road-trip pace.
