Golf St-Rémi

Golf St-Rémi is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course situated in Lac-aux-Sables, Quebec, where the landscape is shaped by rivers, lakes, and mountains. The course traces its roots to 1970, when it opened as a 9-hole layout called Tawachiche. A second nine, named Mékinac, was added later, and a new clubhouse was constructed between 1998 and 2000, bringing the property to its current form.

The two nines play quite differently from one another. Tawachiche, the original layout, is defined by generous fairways framed by mature trees — a forgiving track that rewards accuracy over power. Mékinac is longer and more demanding, angled toward players who can move the ball off the tee. Together they stretch to 5,906 yards, a length that keeps the course accessible while offering enough variety to hold the interest of mid- and low-handicappers alike.

The natural setting is one of the course's most distinctive qualities. The convergence of water, forest, and mountain terrain gives Golf St-Rémi a character that goes beyond a standard parkland layout.
