Golf St-Jérôme

Golf St-Jérôme is an 18-hole, par-72 public course set in the heart of Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, roughly 30 minutes north of Montreal. Designed by Gaston Alary and opened in 1972, the parkland layout stretches to 6,000 yards and has served the Laurentian gateway city for more than five decades.

The course is built around a stream that runs alongside several fairways and borders a number of greens, adding a consistent water-hazard thread throughout the round. Elevated tees appear at multiple holes, offering views over the surrounding parkland terrain and introducing some variety in how yardages play. Five sets of tee boxes allow golfers to match the layout to their ability, making the course a practical choice for a wide range of handicaps.

At 6,000 yards from the back tees, Golf St-Jérôme is not a long test by modern standards, but the recurring stream and elevation changes ensure the card is not straightforward. Beginners benefit from the accessible length and multiple tee options, while mid-handicappers will find enough challenge in the water-threaded holes to keep the round engaging.
