Club de Golf Rivière Rouge

Club de Golf Rivière Rouge is a public 18-hole parkland course situated in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec, roughly an hour southwest of Montreal along the St. Lawrence corridor. Designed by Maurice Berthiaume and opened in 1972, the course has matured considerably over its five decades of play, with tree-lined fairways that define the character of the layout.

At 6,430 yards from the tips and playing to a par of 71, Rivière Rouge offers a moderately measured test that rewards accuracy over raw distance. The parkland setting means mature trees come into play throughout the round, and water hazards add a further layer of decision-making on select holes. The combination keeps the course engaging for mid-handicappers while remaining approachable for recreational golfers.

As a public facility, Rivière Rouge is open to walk-ins and visitors without the need for membership, making it a straightforward option for golfers road-tripping through the Montérégie region or passing through on the Trans-Canada corridor.
