Club de golf Lachute

Club de golf Lachute is a historic semi-private facility in Lachute, Quebec, situated approximately 82 kilometres northwest of Montréal. Founded in 1923, the club has grown into a 36-hole destination built around two distinct championship layouts: the Thompson Course, designed by the celebrated Canadian architect Stanley Thompson, and the Howard Watson Course, named for and designed by Watson himself.

Both courses play as 18-hole, par-72 layouts stretching to 7,000 yards and share the parkland character typical of Quebec's Laurentian foothills fringe — tree-lined fairways threading through natural terrain with water hazards coming into play at various points. The Thompson Course carries the added weight of its designer's legacy; Stanley Thompson's work is widely regarded among the most architecturally considered in Canadian golf history, and Lachute represents one of his earlier commissions.
