Golf Waterloo

Golf Waterloo is a 36-hole facility situated in Shefford, in Quebec's Eastern Townships, approximately 55 minutes from Montreal. The club traces its origins to 1961, when the original nine-hole layout first opened. It expanded to 27 holes in 1991 with the addition of Le Napoléon, and reached its current configuration in 1997 when a further nine holes were added to complement the original Waterloo course.

The two main layouts — Le Waterloo and Le Napoléon — share a parkland character, with wooded terrain shaping the routing on both courses. Le Waterloo stretches to 6,883 yards from the tips, playing to a par 72. Le Napoléon includes a practice hole known as "Hole Zero," a warm-up option designed to let players sharpen their game before stepping onto the first tee proper.

The combination of tree-lined fairways and demanding layouts suits golfers who enjoy course management over raw distance. With 36 holes on site, the facility accommodates varying pace-of-play preferences and gives returning visitors reason to work through both layouts across multiple visits. The Eastern Townships setting adds a scenic dimension that reflects the region's rolling, wooded landscape.
