Golf Val-des-Sources

Golf Val-des-Sources is an 18-hole parkland course located in Val-des-Sources (formerly Asbestos), Quebec, in the Eastern Townships. Designed by Howard Watson and opened in 1967, the layout stretches to 6,871 yards from the back tees and plays to a par of 72.

The course combines open stretches with wooded sections, and natural elevation changes give the round variety and visual interest throughout. At just under 6,900 yards, the layout presents a genuine test from the tips without being punishing for mid-handicappers playing forward tees. The course's credentials were underlined in 2015 when it hosted the Quebec Provincial Amateur Championship, a signal that the conditioning and design hold up at a competitive level.

The Eastern Townships provide a fitting backdrop — rolling terrain, a mix of farmland and forest — and Val-des-Sources sits within comfortable driving range of the broader regional golf circuit for travellers routing through this part of Quebec.
