Black Bear Ridge Golf Course

Black Bear Ridge Golf Course is an 18-hole public parkland layout situated in Corbyville, Ontario, roughly in the Bay of Quinte region of eastern Ontario. Designed by owner Brian Magee and opened in 2005, the course stretches to 7,238 yards from the back tees at a par 72.

The layout blends deciduous and coniferous trees with natural water features and undulating greens, producing the kind of varied, tactical parkland golf that rewards thoughtful course management. Five sets of tees make the course accessible to a range of abilities without softening its challenge for players who step to the tips. The standout test is the par-five 11th, a 692-yard hole — originally conceived as a par six — that skirts a large wetland corridor before finishing at a narrow, cigar-shaped green guarded by water.
