The Pines at Digby Pines Resort is an 18-hole, par-71 layout stretching 6,200 yards above the Annapolis Basin in Digby, Nova Scotia. Opened in 1931, it stands as one of the earlier surviving works of Stanley Thompson, the celebrated Canadian architect whose fingerprints are on some of the country's most enduring courses. The setting alone — atop a rolling hill with views over the Basin — gives the round a sense of place that is difficult to manufacture.

Thompson's routing weaves through stands of pine and across a meandering brook that broadens into ponds at the second and sixteenth holes, creating natural focal points without resorting to artificial drama.
