Golf Bouctouche

Golf Bouctouche is a public 18-hole, par-72 parkland course sitting just outside Bouctouche in southeastern New Brunswick. Designed by Graham Cooke and Greg McCullough and opened in 1982, it stretches 6,256 yards and draws players from across the Acadian Peninsula region.

The layout presents two distinct personalities across its 18 holes. The front nine is defined by tight, tree-lined fairways where shot placement off the tee matters more than raw distance. The back nine opens up considerably, exposing golfers to wind that can reshape club selection and scoring strategies hole by hole. Water comes into play on four holes across the round, with hole 14 offering the most pronounced test — an expanded pond that demands a committed carry and rewards accurate positioning.

At 6,256 yards from the tips, Golf Bouctouche is accessible to a broad range of handicaps without sacrificing genuine challenge. The contrast between the wooded front nine and the more exposed back makes for a varied round that keeps the experience from feeling repetitive.
