Copper Point The Ridge

Copper Point The Ridge sits in Invermere, British Columbia, in the Columbia Valley — a region framed by the Purcell and Rocky Mountains. Designed by Gary Browning and opened in 2008, it is one of two courses at Copper Point Golf Club, connected to its sister course, The Point, via a tunnel beneath Highway 93/95. Check-in for The Ridge takes place at the Copper Point Clubhouse.

The Ridge is an 18-hole, par-62 layout measuring 5,072 yards, built entirely from par 3s and par 4s — no par 5s appear on the card. That format is not a shortcut: the holes play at full length across character-filled terrain, and the absence of par 5s concentrates the round on precision off the tee and accurate approach play. Gary Browning's routing takes advantage of the natural contours of the land, and the pace of play is notably brisk — rounds here can often be completed in around three hours.
