Designed by Puddicombe Golf and opened in 2012, the resort course stretches to 7,207 yards from the back tees, with multiple tee options beginning at 5,384 yards to accommodate a range of skill levels.

The mining heritage is woven into the fabric of the course rather than hidden away. Former mining equipment has been incorporated into the layout, and the bunkers carry a visual signature found nowhere else in Alberta — black sand made from copper slag.
