Sirocco Golf Club

Sirocco Golf Club is an 18-hole, semi-private links course set within the Pine Creek Valley, south of Calgary, Alberta. Designed by Bill Robinson and opened in 2005, the course plays to a par 72 over 7,185 yards from the back tees — a substantial test by any measure.

The links-style layout takes advantage of the valley terrain, with the open exposure and turf character typical of the form. Hole 7, a par 3, is a visual standout, offering views toward the Rockies from the tee. Hole 6, a par 4, presents one of the more demanding challenges on the card. At over 7,100 yards, the course rewards accurate ball-striking and course management rather than pure power.

Sirocco suits mid-to-low handicap players who want a rigorous round, though the semi-private designation means access is available to visiting golfers without a full-membership commitment. Its position south of Calgary makes it a practical stop on any Alberta golf itinerary.
