D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club

D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Okotoks, Alberta, laid out on the site of a former quarter-horse ranch. Designed by Ken Dye and opened in 1990, it plays to a par 72 over 6,903 yards in a links style that draws on the natural character of the land rather than manufactured scenery.

The routing incorporates tree-lined ravines, rolling escarpments, and water features throughout, giving each nine a distinct feel while maintaining the open, wind-exposed quality associated with links design. The closing hole, the 18th, is a par 4 that finishes back at the clubhouse — a strong finishing test that brings the round full circle to the ranch setting. At nearly 6,900 yards from the tips, the layout offers a genuine challenge for mid-to-low handicappers, while the par-72 structure and public access make it approachable for recreational golfers as well.

D'Arcy Ranch earned designation as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in 2013, reflecting a commitment to environmental stewardship that is visible in the naturalized areas woven through the property. Wildlife sightings on the course are common.
